Faith in Public Policy: Responding to Tragedy

I wanted to wait to put this post up, but I am sure most have heard of the tragic shooting in Tucson, Arizona.  As you can see here, one of those killed shares a common faith with myself and Pepperdine.

Of course, this turn of events just goes to show that evil is constantly around us.  What it does not give to us is any reflection on the current political culture.  See Victor Davis Hanson on the subject.  Some people are just crazy, and some are insane.  This should be a call to national mourning, but does not mean that we all of the sudden agree on all political matters.
